The Jio IPO allotment status is scheduled to be finalised on Monday, 26 October 2026. You can check it with just your PAN on the registrar’s site (KFin Technologies), on BSE, or on NSE, and most broker apps will show it too.
If you didn’t get shares, the money blocked in your bank through UPI should be released by 27 October. And if a WhatsApp message offers to “confirm” your allotment for a fee, that’s a scam. More on that in section 6.
⚡ Key takeaways
- Allotment date: 26 October (scheduled). Refunds/unblocking and demat credit: 27 October. Listing on BSE and NSE: 28 October (tentative).
- Check with your PAN, application number or demat (DP Client ID) on the KFin Technologies IPO status page, or on the BSE and NSE application status pages.
- The retail portion was about 2.72 times subscribed at the close, per Upstox’s final update. Rough maths says at least 1 in 3 retail applicants should get one lot.
- Not allotted? The UPI block should be lifted by 4 pm on 27 October under SEBI’s T+3 timeline.
- Nobody can “fix” or “upgrade” your allotment. Ignore paid allotment or GMP tip groups.
Jio IPO Allotment Status: Key Dates You Need
The Jio Platforms IPO was open for bidding from 21 to 23 October 2026. It’s a fresh issue of up to 27 crore shares worth ₹30,213 crore, with a price band of ₹1,065 to ₹1,119, according to Groww’s issue summary. The minimum bid was one lot of 12 shares, or ₹13,428 at the top of the band.
The timeline after the issue closed is below. All dates are tentative and can move if the exchanges or registrar change the schedule.
| Step | Date | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Issue closed | Fri, 23 Oct | Bidding ends |
| Basis of allotment | Mon, 26 Oct | Lottery and allotment finalised |
| Unblock / refund | Tue, 27 Oct | Blocked UPI money released if not allotted |
| Shares in demat | Tue, 27 Oct | Allotted shares credited |
| Listing | Wed, 28 Oct | Trading starts on BSE and NSE |
These dates follow SEBI’s T+3 rule. Under the August 2023 circular, the basis of allotment is completed on T+1 (working days after the issue closes), funds are unblocked by 4 pm on T+2, and trading starts on T+3.

How to Check Jio IPO Allotment Status by PAN
You only need one of three things: your PAN, your application number, or your demat account number (DP ID plus Client ID). PAN is the easiest, because you already know it.
Option 1: KFin Technologies (the registrar)
KFin Technologies is the registrar for this IPO, per Groww’s listing. The registrar’s page is usually the first to show results.
- Open the KFin IPO status site at ipostatus.kfintech.com.
- Select “Jio Platforms Limited” from the list of IPOs. It appears only once the basis of allotment is uploaded.
- Choose PAN, application number or DP Client ID.
- Enter the details, fill the captcha and submit.
Option 2: BSE
On the BSE application status page, select Issue Type “Equity”, pick Jio Platforms Limited from the Issue Name list, and enter your PAN or application number. Chittorgarh’s status page lists the same three inputs for the registrar check.
Option 3: NSE or your broker app
NSE has its own IPO bid verification page, which asks for your PAN and application number. Zerodha, Groww, Upstox and most bank broker apps also show “Allotted” or “Not allotted” under their IPO section once results are out.
💡 Pro tip
If the site keeps timing out on 26 October, don’t keep refreshing. Results for an issue this big draw huge traffic. Your bank SMS on 27 October (debit or unblock) and your demat statement will confirm the result anyway.

Retail allotment in an oversubscribed IPO works like a lottery. As ICICI Direct explains, retail shares are allotted so that as many investors as possible get the minimum lot, and a computerised draw picks the winners when there isn’t enough to go round.
So it doesn’t matter much whether you applied for one lot or ten. If you’re picked, you most likely get one lot of 12 shares.
What the subscription numbers say
According to Upstox’s final day-3 update at 8:26 pm on 23 October, the issue closed about 22 times subscribed overall:
| Category | Times subscribed |
|---|---|
| QIB (institutions) | 70.55x |
| NII (high-value investors) | 14x |
| Retail | 2.72x |
| Overall | 22.19x |
Retail was the least crowded category. On day 1, The Week reported that 8.5 crore shares were on offer for retail investors.
Now some rough maths. If every retail applicant had bid for just one lot, about 1 in 2.7 would get shares. Many people bid for several lots, which means fewer applicants in total, so your odds should be a bit better than that.
Treat this as an estimate, not a promise. Final category numbers on the NSE and BSE sites can differ slightly.

Not Allotted? When Your Blocked UPI Money Comes Back
When you applied, your bank didn’t take the money. It blocked it through a UPI mandate (or ASBA if you applied through net banking). If you don’t get shares, that block simply gets released.
Under SEBI’s T+3 timetable, unblocking should be done by 4 pm on T+2, which is 27 October for this issue. You’ll usually get an SMS from your bank. Groww’s listing shows the mandate’s end date as 7 November, but you shouldn’t have to wait that long.
⚠️ Watch out
If the amount is still blocked on 28 October, check the mandate in your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe or your bank app shows IPO mandates separately). Then contact your broker and your bank with your application number. SEBI’s circular says compensation for delayed unblocking is calculated from T+3, so a delay is the bank’s or intermediary’s problem, not yours.
Applied for several lots and got one? Then only ₹13,428 (or the final price times 12 shares) is debited. The rest of the block is released.
Got Shares? What Happens on 27 and 28 October
If you’re allotted, the shares should show in your demat account on 27 October. You’ll see them in your broker app’s holdings, and you can cross-check on the CDSL or NSDL statement that comes by email.
The shares are scheduled to list on 28 October. Two things worth knowing before then:
- Your debit is based on the final issue price fixed by the company, which is usually the top of the band for heavily subscribed issues. Check your bank SMS for the exact amount.
- Grey market premium (GMP) is not a price. GMP figures quoted in news reports are unofficial dealer chatter. They are not regulated and are not a guarantee of listing price. IndiaInfoline and others quoted a ₹245 GMP during bidding, but that’s a guess, not a quote from the exchange.
This post explains the process only. Whether to sell, hold or buy more after listing is your call, and it’s worth speaking to a SEBI-registered adviser if you’re unsure. We aren’t one.

Big IPOs bring a wave of fake messages. With crores of applicants waiting for the Jio IPO allotment status, scammers have an easy hook.
Watch out for these:
- “Check your allotment here” links on WhatsApp or SMS. Use only the registrar, BSE, NSE or your own broker app. Type the address yourself.
- “Pay ₹999 for a guaranteed allotment” offers. Allotment is a computerised lottery overseen by the exchange. Nobody can change it.
- Telegram “GMP” groups selling pre-listing shares. Shares not yet listed can’t be legally sold to you through a chat group.
- Requests for your UPI PIN to “release” a refund. You never need a PIN to receive money. Unblocking happens automatically.
- Fake broker “support” numbers found on search ads. Call only the number inside your broker’s app.

What to Do Right Now: A Quick Checklist
You don’t need to sit refreshing a website all day. This is the whole plan.
- Monday 26 Oct, evening: check status by PAN on the KFin page or your broker app.
- Tuesday 27 Oct: look for the bank SMS. A debit means you got shares. An unblock message means you didn’t.
- Tuesday 27 Oct, evening: confirm the shares in your demat holdings if allotted.
- Wednesday 28 Oct: listing day. Prices can swing a lot in the first hour.
- If anything looks wrong: contact your broker with your application number before trying anything else.
✅ Our verdict
Check your Jio IPO allotment status by PAN on 26 October on the registrar’s site or your broker app, and ignore every link that reaches you on WhatsApp. If you weren’t picked, your money should unblock by 27 October. If it doesn’t, your broker and bank have to sort it out.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Jio IPO allotment status come out?
The basis of allotment is scheduled for Monday, 26 October 2026. Results usually appear on the registrar’s site first, then on BSE, NSE and broker apps the same evening or the next morning.
Who is the registrar for the Jio Platforms IPO?
KFin Technologies is listed as the registrar. Use its IPO status page and select Jio Platforms Limited once results are uploaded.
Can I check Jio IPO allotment with PAN only?
Yes. The registrar and BSE pages accept PAN alone. You can also use your application number or DP Client ID.
When will I get my money back if I don’t get shares?
Under SEBI’s T+3 timeline, blocked funds should be released by 4 pm on 27 October. You’ll usually get a bank SMS when the block is lifted.
Does applying for more lots increase my chances?
Not much. In an oversubscribed retail category, the aim is to give one lot to as many applicants as possible, so most winners get just one lot.
The Bottom Line
The Jio IPO allotment status should be out on 26 October. Check it with your PAN on the registrar’s site or your broker app, watch for your bank SMS on 27 October, and treat any “allotment help” message as a scam.
